Patient transport products are a class 1 medical devices. In accordance with § 6 section 1 of the Medical Products Act a safety check / inspection needs to be carried out at least within 2 years of usage to prevent possible defects. Based on experience, we recommend an annual service, when used frequently (>300 calls/year), as the systems are exposed to severe mechanical stress. This increases your and the patient’s safety. In addition, it will increase the lifespan of your products distinctly.

Should a defect occur anyway, we are there for you to make the product ready for usage again as soon as possible. To offer you this service, we have service technicians and sales and service representatives in many countries. Depending on the quantity and the location of maintenance, you have also the option to send us your product for repair and get a loaner.
